This rug is woven in Afghanistan with vegetable dyes and hand spun wool. The design is inspired from antique Turkmen weaving rugs of 19th century. This rug is produced by an organize weaving project in Afghanistan.   These rugs are woven in the same way as they were in late 19th century.   These efforts produce high quality rugs with timeless beauty.
