A small antique Persian Bakhtiari tribal rug from the 1920s, this hand-knotted piece has a bold, compact design and the character of an older village weaving. Deep brown and near-black areas are enlivened by brick red, rust, indigo, muted green and small ivory details. Its intimate scale makes it useful beside a chair, at an entry, or as a collectible accent rug. Actual size: approximately 3'8" x 2'7".
