This rug is woven in Afghanistan with vegetable dyes and hand spun wool. The design is inspire from antique Hajjalli Tabriz weaving rugs of early 20th century. This rug is produced by an organize weaving project in Afghanistan.   These rugs are woven in the same way as they were in late 19th century.  The color combination is up dated to reflect today’s decorating needs.   These efforts produce high quality rugs with timeless beauty
